Twofold Bay Beach Discovery

Relax as Cat Balou Cruises the two folds of Twofold bay which covers an area of 30 square kilometres. Surrounded by the Ben Boyd National Park and state forrest, stunning scenery, pristine bays and beaches are viewed as Cat Balou Cruises around this deep water port. Your cruise will include a live commentary highlighting the history of this whaling port including Boyd’s Tower, Seahorse Inn at Boydtown and Edrom Lodge. The naval/multi purpose wharf, wood chip mill, mussel farms, Quarantine Bay and the fishing fleet are also viewed.
Cat Balou will then navigate into East Boyd a sheltered area within Twofold Bay here we will drop anchor and give you the opportunity to disembark the vessel and travel a short distance via our 4.4m tender to the beautiful Fisheries Beach. Once on the beach you will be free to explore the beach or take a swim in the sapphire waters.

What to Bring;
Sun protections (hat, sunglasses, sun cream etc)
Swimsuit / Wetsuit - the average water temperature in Eden for April is 20 degrees celsius.
Mask and snorkel - optional
Jumper or jacket
Afternoon tea consisting of tea, coffee or fruit juice, sweet biscuits, cheese and biscuits, freshly baked muffins and fruit will be served. Soft drinks, beer, wine and small packets of chips are available for purchase on board.
Important Note: Children under 6 years will NOT be permitted to swim and any child under the age of 8 years must be within arms reach of a responsible adult at all times whilst swimming.
